Instructions for worshiping online with VFCC: 4/5/2020

Time: The video of our worship service will be available at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. We are encouraging everyone to worship at the same time. There is nothing magical about it, but it will perhaps give us a sense of oneness even though we are apart. If you can’t make it at 10, that is OK. The video will remain available afterwards.

Meet and Greet: We will have a Zoom meeting for 15 minutes before worship to check in with each other and say, 'Hi!' A meeting link will be provided as a Facebook post and by text message.

Communion: There will be a communion devotion and prayer. We encourage you to get some grape juice and saltines/oyster crackers to use for emblems. If you don’t have/can’t get grape juice, use grape Kool-Aid, Gatorade, or whatever you can find. One person jokingly said Cheerios and apple juice! If you wish to participate in this part of the service at home, use whatever you have. God understands and I don’t think it is demeaning to the sacrifice of Christ, but honors it.

Platforms:

YouTube:
You can go to the Valley Falls Christian Church YouTube channel and watch it from there at 10 a.m.

Facebook:
You can go to the Valley Falls Christian Church Facebook page and watch it from there at 10 a.m. (You must have a Facebook account.)

Church website:
www.valleyfallscc.org. The video should be on the website and remain there for several days.

Rightnow Media:
If you do not have a Rightnow Media account, you can get one free from the church. Go to the church website at valleyfallscc.org, scroll down the page until you find the orange Rightnow Media button. Once you have an account, make sure to log in on Sunday morning. In the Libraries section, scroll down until you find Valley Falls Christian Church and click on that. Once you are on that page, find the channel “VFCC Sunday services and announcements.” Click on March 29 worship and enjoy.
*The church channel will show up on PC or phone, but not on Roku apps.
*We also encourage you to use your Rightnow Media account for Sunday school lessons for all ages. There is a lot of children's programming to keep the little ones busy during the week as well.

YouVersion Bible app:
If you have the YouVersion Bible app, open it, find three lines with 'more.'
Open that and find events.
Open events and Valley Falls Christian Church should show up. You must enable the app to know your location or you can search 'Valley Falls Christian Church.'
This will give you sermon notes and scriptures to help you follow along with the sermon.

Giving:
Online giving is a reality at VFCC! By partnering with Gyve, you can now financially support the church with a bank card, a credit card, online through your bank or even text to give. You can get the app from the Google Play store or the Apple store. You may also follow the link on our home page. When it is installed, search for Valley Falls Christian Church among their list of charities. We will have more information about all the benefits of Gyve once we are able to meet together again.

You may also continue in your generosity toward the church by mailing your regular offering care of: VFCC Treasurer, 17041 K 192 HWY, Winchester KS 66097. PLEASE DO NOT MAIL CASH. You can also mail your checks to the church address.

Finally, you may save back your giving and put it in the offering plate all at once when we all are able to get back together for worship.
Please remember that the church also has financial obligations that must be met even while everything is shut down.
